5-day Itinerary

  • Embarkation and overnight in Luxor

    Arrive in Luxor and board your dahabeyya. Enjoy welcome drink and light lunch on board. Afternoon visit to Karnak Temple, the largest ancient religious complex. Includes access to quieter areas like the Opet festival temple. Dinner on board, overnight anchored near Luxor.

  • Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, Medinet Habu (full sightseeing day)

    Cross to West Bank for Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple at Deir el-Bahri, and Medinet Habu. Lunch during full-day program. Begin sailing south to Esna late afternoon. Dinner and overnight onboard

  • Edfu Temple, Gebel el-Silsileh, Bassaw Island sunset

    Visit Edfu Temple, dedicated to Horus with well-preserved Ptolemaic architecture. Continue to Gebel el-Silsileh, Nile’s narrowest point with Horemheb Temple and ancient quarries. Late afternoon at Bassaw Island: optional kayaking and sunset party on the island.

  • Kom Ombo Temple, Herdiab Island swimming

    Morning visit to Kom Ombo Temple (Sobek and Horus) and adjacent Crocodile Museum. Sail to Herdiabi Island for swimming and relaxation time. Dinner on board, overnight at Herdiabi Island or near Aswan.

  • Philae Temple, Nubian village, disembarkation

    Motorboat to Philae Temple (Temple of Isis). Visit Nubian village for cultural introduction and family-hosted tea. Farewell lunch on board. Afternoon disembarkation in Aswan with transfers to airport/train/station.

    Check-in and briefing for guests continuing on the optional Cairo extension (for example: flight from Aswan to Cairo that evening, then 2–3 nights in Cairo for Giza, Saqqara, Grand Egyptian Museum and city experiences).
