Detailed itinerary

A five-day Nile journey with temple visits, river time, sunrise and sunset yoga, and a full moon closing evening on October 26.

Day 1 · October 23

Embarkation and overnight in Luxor

Arrive in Luxor and board your dahabiyya. Enjoy welcome drinks and a light lunch before visiting Karnak Temple in the afternoon. Return for dinner on board and overnight anchored near Luxor.

Day 2 · October 24

Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple & Medinet Habu

Begin with sunrise yoga and breakfast, then head to the West Bank for the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, and Medinet Habu. In the late afternoon, sail south toward Esna before dinner and overnight onboard.

Day 3 · October 25

Edfu Temple, Gebel el-Silsileh & Bassaw Island

Visit Edfu Temple, dedicated to Horus and known for its remarkably preserved Ptolemaic architecture. Continue to Gebel el-Silsileh, the Nile's narrowest point, with ancient quarries and the Horemheb Temple. Later, enjoy Bassaw Island and a sunset gathering on the island.

Day 4 · October 26

Kom Ombo Temple & Full Moon Closing Evening

Visit Kom Ombo Temple and the Crocodile Museum, then return to the boat as the full moon rises over the Nile. The evening begins with Marlon's nourishing vegan dinner using fresh local ingredients, followed by Maria's closing ceremony: a gentle yoga stretch and chakra-aligning sound bath to bring the retreat to a graceful close.

Visit Philae Temple, beautifully set on the water near Aswan, then stop at a Nubian village for a cultural introduction. Enjoy a farewell lunch on board before disembarkation in Aswan later in the day.

This retreat is open to all levels. All yoga classes are adapted to suit different abilities, and you're always welcome to rest or modify poses as needed.

No prior yoga experience is required. We recommend having a basic level of mobility and comfort with gentle movement, but the practice is never intense or competitive.
Early bird tier: Full refund if cancelled within 14 days. Full refund minus the deposit if cancelled more than 60 days before departure.

Last call tier: Full payment is non-refundable.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against cancellation due to illness, injury, or unforeseen circumstances. All cancellation requests must be received in writing.
Most travelers can obtain a visa on arrival at Cairo International Airport for $30 USD (payable in cash). Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates.

We'll send you a detailed pre-departure guide with visa instructions tailored to your nationality after booking.
Absolutely! Many of our guests travel solo! If you book a shared cabin, we'll do our best to match you with another traveler of the same gender.

If we're unable to find a roommate, a single supplement will be offered free of charge. You can also opt for a private cabin at booking to guarantee your own space.

All meals are included on the dahabiyya.

We accommodate most dietary needs (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free). Please let us know your requirements at booking, and we'll coordinate with the crew.
Fly into Cairo International Airport (CAI), then take a domestic flight to Luxor (LXR) (approximately 1 hour). We recommend arriving the day before the retreat starts to rest from travel.

Private airport transfers from Luxor airport to the dahabiyya are included on arrival day. Just send us your flight details after booking.
